* Zerenda is a daughter of leading stallion Exceed and Excel, sire of 15 G1 winners including Bivouac, Microphone and Exceedance.
* Exceed and Excel is fast becoming a top broodmare sire with 42 SW to his credit including G1 winners Astern and Alizee.
* Zerenda comes from an outstanding Aga Khan family with her second dam being champion race mare and Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner Zarkava.
* Zarkava has already produced the G1 winner Zarak and stakes winner Zarkamiya.
* Zarkava's has the following progeny to race:
- Zarkallani (2016 Invincible Spirit Gelding) Metropolitan winner and is due to race in black type races in the coming weeks.
