Bell View Park has sold 7 out of 10 mares offered for sale at the Magic Millions Broodmare Sale on the Gold Coast. The 7 mares grossed a total of $1,635,000 at an average of $233,571.
The highlight of the sale was stakes winning Hussonet mare Blue Morpho (Pictured) who sold to Yulong for $450,000 in foal to Not A Single Doubt.

Here are some details about each mare: Lot 23 Windradyne (Pictured): A lovely strong, attractive sprinting type who made 550k guineas as a yearling. She is a half sister to champion European sprinter Sole Power and comes from an active family. She offered in foal to The Autumn Sun who complements her very nicely. Lot 36 Collection Privee: A high quality daughter of Frankel who made 300k guineas as a yearling. She's by arguably the greatest current sire in the world and is out of a full sister to 3 times champion US sire Tapit. Two year old Starspangledbanner gelding Prime Star won the $2 million Inglis Millennium race at Warwick Farm for trainers Richard and Michael Freedman and jockey Tom Marquand.
Bell View Park sold Prime Star's G1 winning dam Barinka (Pictured) at the 2016 Inglis Australian Broodmare Sale to Randwick Bloodstock and Chris Lawlor's Ausbred for $130,000.
Chris Lawlor bred Prime Star and remains in the ownership along with the China Horse Club and many other syndicate members.

9/1/20 - $1.1 Million For Dream In Colour Colt
The Bell View Park sold mare Dream in Colour (pictured) produced the top lot of day 1 of the Magic Millions Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast yesterday.
The colt by Exceed and Excel was sold by Milburn Creek on behalf of Nick Wakim's Hilldene Farm. The colt was knocked down to Coolmore Stud's Tom Magnier for $1.1 million.
Bell View Park purchased his dam Dream in Colour at the 2017 Tatersalls February Sale for 75,000 Guineas and then on sold her in foal to the Exceed and Excel colt for $750,000 at the 2018 Magic Millions Broodmare Sale to Peter Ford Bloodstock.
Dream In Colour is by the great racehorse and stallion Frankel and is out of the G3 winning 2yo More Than Ready mare Colour. She hails from the outstanding family of Golden Slipper winner Forensics as well as well as top sires Snippets and Not A Single Doubt.

Bell View Park will present a top quality draft of 21 mares at the upcoming Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale. They are all in foal to a range of highly commercial stallions with early service dates.
Bell View Park takes great care in firstly selecting their mares and secondly mating them to a stallion that complements them both physically and genetically. "Our aim is to give the buyers of our mares every chance to produce a highly commercial yearling as well as a successful racehorse".
Bell View Park have also consistently demonstrated a commitment to selling their mares in the sale ring. Bell View Park has sold 72 out of 74 mares offered at auction since their initial draft of mares in 2016.

The Bell View Park owned mare Eugene's Pick (pictured) has qualified for the $500,000 Provincial Championship Final for trainers Robert and Luke Price.
Eugene's Pick qualified for the race after running an excellent third in one of the heats at Kembla Grange on Saturday. Eugene's Pick jumped well from the outside gate for jockey Adam Hyeronimus and showed good speed to push forward and sit second outside the leader Mandylion. She joined the lead half way down the straight but was swamped late after working hard early in the race on the heavy track.
The 1400m Provincial Championship Final will be held at Randwick Racecourse on Saturday April 13th.

12/3/19 - First Up Win For Blue Morpho
The Bell View Park owned Hussonet mare Blue Morpho won first up over 1400m at Morphetville on Saturday for trainer Will Clarken and jockey Jake Toeroek.
Blue Morpho jumped well from barrier 4 and sat just behind the leaders. She was taken to the outside at the top of the straight where she showed excellent determination to pull away from the field to win by just under a length.

The Bell View Park owned 4yo mare Eugene's Pick (pictured) won her first metropolitan race at Randwick yesterday for trainers Robert and Luke Price.
Eugene's Pick jumped quickly from the outside gate and worked across the field to lead comfortably. Jockey Adam Hyeronimus rated her well in front and she kicked clear at the top of the straight and was able to hang on to win the 1400m event by a narrow margin.
Eugene's Pick has now recorded 3 wins and 3 placing from 8 career starts and earned $83,975 in prize money. She is a daughter of top class stallion Mastercraftsman and is out of the Fusaichi Pegasus mare In Essence, who is from the family of G1 winners Bonanova, Telesto and Fraternity.

20/2/19 - Fortress Command Wins On Debut
2yo Sebring colt Fortress Command has won impressively on debut at Wyong over 1350m for trainer Gerald Ryan and owners Sun Stud.
Fortress Command jumped well from the gates for jockey Brett Prebble and was allowed to settle midfield in the run. On the home turn he was taken to the middle of the track where he showed excellent acceleration to win by a comfortable 1.3 lengths.
"He's a nice colt that will be very good when gets up over 1600m and further. I told Sun Stud we might look at races like the Fernhill or Champagne Stakes for him later in the Autumn" trainer Gerald Ryan said.
Sun Stud purchased Fortress Command's dam Prairie Star (pictured) for $240,000 from Bell View Park's draft of mares at the 2016 Inglis Australian Broodmare Sale. Prairie Star was in foal Sebring with Fortress Command being the result of the mating.
Fortress Command is a half brother to G3 placed Leotie and his dam Prairie Star is a stakes placed High Chaparral mare and half sister to stakes performers Marianne and Our Miss Jones.

The Bell View Park Stud sold mare Maglissa, produced the 2yo Hinchinbrook colt Unite And Conquer (pictured) to win the listed Maribyrnong Trial on Saturday at Flemington in very impressive fashion.
Trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, Unite And Conquer led throughout to run away for a dominant 2.25 length victory for jockey Stephen Baster and syndicate owners Blueblood Thoroughbreds.
Bell View Park sold Maglissa at the 2016 Inglis Australian Broodmare Sale in foal to Unite and Conquer to agent Tim Stewart for $180,000. Maglissa has also produced a yearling colt by So You Think and a newborn colt by Golden Slipper winner Capitalist.

4/10/18 - Valley Of Light Wins Impressively On Australian Debut
After placing in the UK, Bell View Park's imported mare Valley Of Light has recorded an impressive maiden win at Strathalbyn on her Australian debut.
Trained by Will Clarken, Valley Of Light jumped well from the barriers to settle just behind the leader in the run for jockey Emily Finnegan. At the top of the straight Valley Of Light was held up for run behind horses but she managed to push her way through a gap and powered away to score a soft 2.7 length win.
Valley Of Light is by the outstanding stallion Dubawi and is out of the stakes winning Elusive Quality mare Elusive Sparkle, who is a half sister to Kentucky Derby winner and highly regarded stallion Street Sense. Valley Of Light is also half sister to last start stakes winner Camdus who recently won the listed VRC Victorian Sprint Final.

Bell View Park recorded back to back winners when race mares Maria Victoria and Eugene's Pick both saluted in impressive style.
Last Friday, the John Sargent trained Maria Victoria (pictured as a yearling) broke her maiden at Bathurst over 1400m after running an excellent third at Canterbury first up. Ridden by Winona Costin, Maria Victoria jumped quickly but was allowed to settle behind the leader. Entering the straight Maria Victoria snuck up the rail and hit the lead to record a comfortable 1.26 length win.
Maria Victoria is by outstanding sire Medaglia D'Oro and is out of the G1 Queensland Oaks winning Zabeel mare, Zagalia. Maria Victoria is also a half sister to G3 winner Dawnie Perfect.

On Saturday at Kembla Grange, the Robert and Luke Price trained Eugene's Pick won very easily over 1300m for jockey Josh Adams. Eugene's Pick jumped well but settled in the back half of the field and was forced to race wide with cover in the run. Entering the straight, she was taken to the centre of the track where she produced an explosive sprint, claimed the lead and coasted to the line winning by 3.3 lengths. It was her second win in a row after winning at Goulburn at her previous start.

The Bell View Park owned 3yo filly Eugene's Pick won her maiden impressively at Goulburn over 1200m for trainers Robert and Luke Price and jockey Kathy O'Hara.
After placing at Kembla Grange at her first two career starts Eugene's Pick jumped well from the gates at Goulburn and raced handy before overpowering the leaders for a comfortable win by just over one length.

Bell View Park will present a draft of 22 quality young mares at the upcoming Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale commencing on Tuesday 29th May, including a Frankel mare from one of Australia's best female families.
The draft has been carefully selected and mated to highly commercial stallions that complement them both physically and genetically. All pregnant mares are in foal prior to October 23rd, with the majority of them having been covered in September.
Of the 22 well bred mares, 3 are stakes winners, 4 are stakes placed and a further 9 are metropolitan winners.

In 2017 Bell View Park sold its entire draft of 25 mares at the Magic Millions Sale, demonstrating its commitment to presenting quality mares and selling them in the sale's ring.
Bell View Park sold mares have also enjoyed success on the track this season. From Bell View Park's first draft of mares sold in 2016, thirteen mares have had runners with three mares subsequently producing the G3 winners Lubiton and Sweet Redemption and listed winner and G3 placed 2yo Krone.

Bell View Park will present a quality, select draft of three young stakes winning mares at the upcoming Inglis Chairman's Sale on Thursday 12th April. The three mares are in foal at their first season at stud and have early service dates.

Bell View Park will present 25 quality young mares for sale at the upcoming broodmare sales. Of the 25 mares, 23 are in foal for the first time and 2 are recently retired breeding prospects. These well bred mares consist of 6 stakes winners, 4 stakes placegetters and 9 metropolitan winners.

gallery | 5/3/18 - Two Year Old Stakes Winner For Bell View Park
Two year old filly Krone impressively won the listed Cinderella Stakes at Morphetville on Saturday. Trained by Darren Weir and ridden by Justin Huxtable, the filly settled back at the tail of the field but finished strongly to record a comfortable one length victory.
Krone was bred by Bell View Park in partnership with Michael Alexeeff's Foote Street Investments. Krone is the first stakes winner for young Newgate stallion Eurozone and is out of the Al Maher mare Soft Landing (Pictured), who is a half sister to G1 winners Universal Prince and Universal Queen.
Krone was sold by Bell View Park at the 2016 Magic Millions Weanling sale for $30,000 to the bid of Rae Louise Charlton. Bell View Park also sold Krone's dam Soft Landing to D Chambers at the 2016 Inglis Australian Broodmare Sale for $50,000. At the time of the sale Soft Landing was carrying a full sister to Krone.

6/12/17 - Breeding Season Complete At Bell View Park
Bell View Park has had another very successful breeding season with 29 of 32 mares bred testing in foal. All 29 pregnant mares were covered by 22/10/17 and will be carefully prepared for the 2018 broodmare sales.
Of these 29 very well related mares, 5 are stakes winners, 4 are stakes placed and 10 are metropolitan winners.
These mares have been carefully mated to highly commercial stallions that suit both physically and genetically. The mares are in foal to proven stallions such as Exceed and Excel, Written Tycoon, More Than Ready, Sebring and Teofilo as well as promising young stallions such as Zoustar, Star Witness, So You Think, Shooting To Win, Pierro, Starspangledbanner, Dissident, Brazen Beau, Vancouver, Pride Of Dubai, Deep Field and Your Song. gallery | 17/7/17 - Celestial Choice Wins at Warwick Farm
Following her maiden victory and two subsequent city placings, Celestial Choice (pictured) has recorded her first metropolitan win at Warwick Farm over 2200m.
Ridden by in form apprentice Andrew Adkins, Celestial Choice settled around midfield in the run. She was taken to the outside of the field entering the straight, shot to the lead and was able to hang on to win the race by a narrow margin.
Celestial Choice is trained by Robert and Luke Price and is bred and owned by Bell View Park. Celestial Choice is by champion stallion Redoute's Choice and is out of the winning Galileo mare Sidereus Nuncius. Sidereus Nuncius is a daughter of G1 winning Centaine mare Foxwood who is from the outstanding family of Sovereign Red, Gurner's Lane and Trichelle.

14/7/17 - Bell View Park Purchases Stakes Winner Sebring Sally
Bell View Park has purchased the stakes winning Sebring mare Sebring Sally (Pictured at Bell View Park) in partnership with the Saddleback Racing 1 Syndicate who bought into her as a yearling.
Trained by champion trainer Chris Waller, Sebring Sally displayed early speed winning as a 2yo over 1200m. As a 3yo Sebring Sally impressively won the listed TRC Strutt Stakes. Later in her 3yo season Sebring Sally was narrowly beaten when 3rd in the G2 BRC The Roses Stakes before running an excellent 4th in the G1 BRC Queensland Oaks.
Sebring Sally is by the outstanding young sire Sebring and is out of the Anabaa mare Donna Amata, a half sister to stakes winners Donna Dior and Yesterday. The family also includes Golden Slipper winner Catbird.
Sebring Sally has been retired to stud and will be covered by the very exciting first season sire American Pharaoh. An incredible racehorse, American Pharaoh became the first American Triple Crown winner since Affirmed completed the treble back in 1978.

The Bell View Park bred and owned Redoute's Choice mare Celestial Choice (Pictured as a Foal) broke her maiden in a Class 1 at Kembla Grange on Saturday over 1600m for trainers Robert and Luke Price.
Ridden by jockey Peter Wells, Celestial Choice jumped well and settled just off the pace. On the home turn she got to the outside and worked home impressively to record a comfortable 1.3 length victory.
Celestial Choice is out of the winning Galileo mare Sidereus Nuncius who is a daughter of G1 winning Centaine mare Foxwood. This is the highly credentialled family of Sovereign Red, Gurner's Lane and Trichelle.

4/6/17 - Outstanding Sale Results For Bell View Park
Bell View Park sold their entire draft of 25 mares at the Magic Millions Broodmare Sale on the Gold Coast. The 25 mares realised a total of $5,215,000 at an average of $208,600.
The highlight of the sale for Bell View Park was Fastnet Rock mare Breccia (Pictured at the Sale), the dam of G1 winner Tivaci, who was knocked down to Dean Hawthorne Bloodstock for for $950,000. Other high priced lots included G3 winning Flying Spur mare Okahu Bay who fetched $470,000, stakes winning Star Witness mare Pearl Star who made $380,000 and stakes placed Street Boss mare Star Via Strada who was purchased for $350,000.

10/5/17 - Bell View Park Purchases Two Stakes Winners
Bell View Park has recently purchased the stakes winners Tarquinn Shadow and Another Coup for the upcoming breeding season.
Tarquinn Shadow (Pictured) is an attractive daughter of the Western Australian based stallion Trade Fair. Tarquinn Shadow won 6 races including the Listed WATC Starstruck Classic and collected just under $220,000 in prize money. She also placed in the G3 WATC La Trice Classic. She is out of the Redoute's Choice mare Penumbra and hails from the great family of Best In Show.
Another Coup is a daughter of the excellent New Zealand based stallion Darci Brahma, sire of 7 G1 winners. Another Coup won 7 races in New Zealand including the Listed Otago RC Dunedin Guineas and just under $140,000 in prize money. She is a daughter of the Encosta De Lago mare Ginger Nut Coup and comes from a strong international family which includes G1 winners Light Jig and Seek Again.

Progressive three year old Starlot (Star Witness / Pearl of the Sea) ran an impressive second in Hong Kong overnight. Two year old colt Mujaafy (Star Witness / Pearl of the Sea) was purchased by Shadwell Stud at the 2016 Easter Yearling Sale for $210,000 and is in training with the Hayes / Dabernig stable. Happy with their 2016 purchase, Shadwell Stud back up to buy the yearling filly full sister (pictured) for $250,000 at this year's Easter Yearling Sale.
Stakes winning two year old Pearl Star (Star Witness / Pearl of the Sea) will be offered for sale by Bell View Park at this year's Magic Millions National Sale in foal to the outstanding young stallion I am Invincible.

27/3/17 - Full Brother To Calusa Wins Stylishly On Debut
The Peter and Paul Snowden trained High Chaparral gelding California Archer (pictured) recorded a dominant debut win at Newcastle on Saturday. California Archer displayed excellent speed to lead all the way in the 1200m event to win by a very comfortable 3.55 lengths. He also recorded the fastest time for the five races that were run over the 1200m distance on the program. After the race trainer Paul Snowden commented "He's a lovely animal going places and that was a dominant win".
A $420,000 Easter Yearling Sale purchase, California Archer is a full brother to Bell View Park's mare Calusa. Calusa is out of the superbly bred mare Sarasota, a full sister to champion stallion Fastnet Rock. Calusa is in foal to the outstanding racehorse and exciting young stallion Shooting To Win. Calusa will be offered for sale at the upcoming Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.

gallery | 20/2/17 - Elouera Breaks Her Maiden
After several unlucky placings, Eloeura (Picture as a Yearling) finally broke her maiden at Goulburn on Saturday for trainer Robert Price and owners Bell View Park, Sascha Chandler and Michael Vimpany.
After jumping in front for jockey Grant Buckley, she was eased to sit just behind the leader in the run. Entering the straight Grant was able to get her to the outside of the leader where she finished the race off well to win by a comfortable 1.3 lengths. Now that her maiden win is out of the way there should be more wins in store for Elouera.
Bred by Bell View Park, Elouera is by Street Cry out of the G1 winning daughter of Commands, Russeting. Russeting was also raced by Bell View Park when she won the 2009 G1 Queensland Breeder's Winter Stakes.

10/1/17 - Bell View Park Purchases Vive La Difference
Bell View Park has purchased the Group 2 placed Choisir mare Vive Le Difference (Pictured).
Vive La Difference won 3 races including 2 metropolitan races. She ran 3rd in the G2 ARC Championship Stakes as well as running 4th in the WRC Desert Gold Stakes at G3 level.
Vive La Difference comes from the great family of Denise's Joy and is also a half brother to the talented galloper The Justice League, a G2 winning son of I am Invincible. The Justice League won his last start and is being set for future stakes races.

12/12/16 - Another Stakes Win For Cavaloce
The Will Clarken trained Testa Rossa mare Cavaloce (Pictured) won her second stakes race for Bell View Park on Saturday. After winning the listed 1200m Durbridge Stakes at Morphetville, Cavaloce ran excellent closing 6th in the G3 1400m Maybe Mahal stakes at Flemington on Melbourne Cup day.
Having her third start for Bell View Park on Saturday in the Listed City Marion Stakes, Cavaloce was slowly away and settled a clear last for jockey Todd Pannel. Coming to the turn Cavaloce was pulled out to the centre of the track and sprinted home powerfully to win the 1200m event by a head.
Cavaloce has now won 8 of her 25 career starts and just over $280,000 in prize money. She is now likely to head to the G3 1200m Standish Handicap run down the 1200m Flemington straight on new year's day.

Bell View Park's race mare Hesperos (pictured as a foal) broke her maiden at Canberra today. Ridden by senior jockey Jeff Penza for trainer John Sargent, Hesperos took up a forward position in the race. She looked beaten in the straight but fought back strongly along the rail to win by half a length over the 2000m journey. It was a game effort and there should be more wins to come.
Bred by Bell View Park, Hesperos is by the ill fated champion NZ stallion Thorn Park and is out of the Sydney metropolitan winning daughter of Redoute's Choice, Halleys. Halleys hails from the great Eight Carat family, which includes champion racehorse Octagonal.

15/11/16 - Bell View Park Purchases Chocolatier
Bell View Park has purchased the French bred, stakes placed mare Chocolatier. (Pictured) Chocolatier is by Lawman, a successful sire and son of Invincible Spirit - The sire of the outstanding young Australian stallion, I Am Invincible. Chocolatier is out of the French metropolitan winning Grand Lodge mare Sweet Shop. She is from an excellent female line that includes Australian Champion 2yo and exciting stallion prospect, Pierro.
Chocolatier was purchased by De Burgh Equine at the Arqana yearling sales for the equivalent of $215,000 AUD. She commenced her racing career in France, winning at Chantilly as a 2yo. She went on to run 4th in 3 stakes races in France as well as 5th in the G1 Longchamp Prix Saint-Alary. Chocolatier was moved to the USA where she won a further two races at Keeneland and Aqueduct before earning a stakes placing at Golden Gate. She finished her racing career with 3 wins and the equivalent of $265,000 AUD in stakes.

The Mike Maroney trained entire Tivaci (pictured as a yearling) ran impressive 3rd in the G1 Toorak Handicap at Caulfield on Saturday. Already a dual G3 winner, this result took Tivaci's race record to 15 starts for 4 wins and 4 placings and just over $330,000 in stakes. Tivaci is a son of High Chaparral out of Bell View Park's Fastnet Rock mare, Breccia. Breccia is out of G2 winner Luna Tudor and is a half sister to G1 winner Allez Wonder and G3 winner Pretty Pins.
Breccia has produced some excellent results in the sale ring. Tivaci who was her first foal, sold for $250,000 at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale to the bid of Paul Maroney. Her second foal, a colt by Dalakhani, sold to Tony McEvoy for $180,000 at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale. Her last foal, a colt by Dundeel, was knocked down to Sheamus Mills at this year's Magic Millions National Weanling Sale for $180,000.
